Although the explosion in interest in ropes courses is a relatively recent occurence, ropes courses have been around in one form or another almost as long as rope has been around! Since our beginning, CMI has supported the development and advancement of technology in the ropes course industry.

Trolley Lanyard The CMI Trolley Lanyard makes ziplining a cinch. A rider should have two separate lanyards attached to the trolley for a safe and secure ride. This usually requires two separate lanyards which can be a headache. Our new trolley lanyard solves that problem by using two sewn runners that are sewn together to provide the rider with both a main lanyard and backup lanyard in one compact unit. Using two different color webbings makes checking for lanyard wear easy. The Heady Duty version (pictured) incorporates heavier webbing at all three attachment points for increased wear resistance. Trolley Brake Block A perfect companion to our Trolley. Carved from dense Appalachian hardwood and sealed with an environmentally safe preservative. The striking surface is crafted from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, noted for it's exceptional wear resistance. Steel hardware and a galvanized eye bolt round out the package. Length: 9in (23cm). Weight: 3lb (1.4kg).

Cable Drop Plate A simple way to attach a swing rope to a horizontal cable. A 5/16" cable clamp is used to attach the drop plate to the cable, the lower 1" tie-in hole allows easy attachment of a carabiner or quicklinks. Hot dip galvanized for lasting durability.
